Scott Dupree Executive Vice President and General Counsel

Mr. Dupree is the principal legal advisor to The ConAm Group. His responsibilities include: (i) negotiations, document preparation, due diligence review and closings related to property management, acquisitions, sales and financing; (ii) negotiation and documentation of partnership and operating agreements associated with ConAm's real estate investments; (iii) supervision of litigation for both insured and uninsured matters; (iv) advice regarding development and construction activities and related risk assessment: (v) oversight of ConAm's Risk Management Department which places liability, property, environmental and all other lines of insurance coverage for ConAm's investment and property management activities, including owner controlled insurance programs for development activities; claims handling and safety and loss control services; (vi) employee health benefit and 401K plan structuring; (vii) retaining and supervising all outside legal services provided to ConAm; and (viii) oversight of regulatory compliance with respect to ConAm's property management activities throughout the U.S.. He is a California Real Estate Broker and formerly acted as the Broker Officer for ConAm Management Corporation in California for more than twenty years.

Prior to joining ConAm in January 1985, Mr. Dupree was corporate counsel to Truste House Forte, Inc., an international hotel and restaurant operator. While at Trust House, he handled property acquisition and partnership formation for its U.S. hotel and restaurant activities.

Mr. Dupree holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from United States International University and a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of San Diego School of Law, where he currently serves on the board of directors of the Law School Alumni Association. He is a member of the National Multi-Housing Council and California Apartment Association. He formerly served on the board of directors of the Southern California Housing Collaborative, a non-profit organization providing housing for the developmentally disabled and is active in several other philanthropic organizations.
