Mr. Epstein is the executive chairman of the ConAm Group. Under his direction, ConAm has grown to be among the top apartment management/ownership firms in the United States. ConAm presently manages in excess of 50,000 apartments throughout the United States and has developed over 25,000 units across the United States.
Before founding ConAm Management Corporation in 1975, Mr. Epstein was the executive vice president of American Housing Guild, a residential development firm. Mr. Epstein's early career included positions with a world-wide construction company working at Cape Kennedy. After his early experience, Mr. Epstein joined an apartment developer in Dallas and began his career in real estate development.
Mr. Epstein serves on several boards, including the University of Southern California Board of Trustees, the USC Lusk Center for Real Estate Development, and the USC School of Engineering. He also serves as chairman of the USC advisory committee of the engineering school's department of lndustrial and Systems Engineering and is on the board of trustees for Sanford Burnham Prebys Medical Discovery Institute. Committed to private sector community involvement, Mr. Epstein is active in numerous civic and charitable activities. He is also a director of the National Multi Housing Council. Mr. Epstein is a member of the Chief Executives' Organization and the Young Presidents' Organization.
Mr. Epstein holds a bachelor of science degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Southern California.
