Meet our Regional Team
ConAm has had a significant presence in the Las Vegas area for more than 25 years. Today, the regional office supervises more than 8,000 multifamily units in the Las Vegas metro area as well as apartments in Kingman, Arizona, Laughlin, Nevada and Needles, CA.
The company’s Nevada region employs more than 230 associates and takes great pride in their leadership role within the community and the industry.
With more than 13 associates in the regional office, ConAm offers its clients expertise in management, marketing, education and training, facility maintenance, in addition to personnel recruitment and retention.
Our wealth of experience in the local market and knowledgeable staff enables us to anticipate trends and rapidly adapt to the ever-changing climate of the multifamily industry. If needed, new marketing strategies can be implemented quickly. Rents are constantly benchmarked against the competition and adjusted as warranted. Portfolio transitions/additions are accomplished efficiently and cost-effectively. New lease-ups are our specialty. Tools such as resident surveys, facility inspections, and property audits are utilized to insure the continued strong performance at each property.
From a facility maintenance standpoint, in addition to efficiently managing day-to-day maintenance issues, ConAm’s staff has extensive experience in conducting major exterior and interior renovations as well as solving major plumbing, roofing, and landscaping problems.
An integral ingredient in all of the above areas of expertise is personnel. ConAm continues to focus substantial resources on its associates. Having top performers on-site is essential to the success of the properties. From the initial interviewing and hiring process to the continuing growth of each associate, valuable time is spent in employee development.
The training offered to all associates is substantial. The diversity in classes includes the ABC’s of Leasing, to Time Management, to Appliance Repair.

Regional Team
Alan Nelson
Regional Vice President
Mr. Nelson is responsible for overseeing operations for ConAm's extensive Nevada property management operations which encompasses a portfolio of more than 25 apartment properties, ranging from HUD subsidized properties to luxury apartment communities.
Mr. Nelson joined ConAm in 2008 and has more than 20 years of leadership experience in real estate management. A true team builder, clear communicator, and effective organizer, Alan honed his skills having worked his way through the on-site ranks into senior levels of management.
His extensive resume includes property management positions with Balcor, Metric/SSR, and Camden Property Trust throughout Oklahoma, Washington, Utah, Arizona, and Nevada markets. In addition, he has related experience with fund management, fee management, and Real Estate Investment Trusts.
Mr. Nelson is a graduate of Weber State University and holds a degree in business management. He has been a member of both the National Apartment Association and IREM, and has served on several committees for both organizations. He has over 20 years of volunteer service with Boy Scouts of America, and is himself an Eagle Scout.
Karissa Holmes, CAM®, CPM®
Regional Portfolio Manager
Ms. Holmes currently oversees management operations for a nine-property portfolio, totaling approximately 3,530 units.
Ms. Holmes is truly a local market expert, with more than 20 years real estate experience in the Vegas area. Prior to joining ConAm in 2002, she had held management positions at National Realty Management, Crowne West, Pacific Properties and Pinnacle Realty Management Company. During her 11-year tenure with Pacific Properties, she was involved with the lease-up and management of over 4,000 apartment units valued at over $250 million. At Pinnacle, she was in charge of managing a portfolio of 13 communities consisting of both conventional and tax credit properties.
Ms. Holmes has earned a Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) designation through the National Apartment Association and a CPM (Certified Property Manager), from IREM. She also holds a Nevada Real Estate license and is tax credit certified.
Christina Lund, ARM®
Regional Portfolio Manager
Ms. Lund oversees the operations of 2,465 units, which include reorganized condo conversions, conventional, tax credit and new construction lease-up properties.
Ms. Lund began her career in property management more than 18 years ago as a leasing consultant with Evergreen Property Management Company in Salt Lake City, UT.
During her time with Evergreen she was promoted to assistant Manager and then to property manager. Her experience in Salt Lake City included the management of tax credit and conventional properties.
In 1994 she was hired by North American Properties, Inc. to oversee several multifamily properties and was later involved in assisting the company in their development of new properties.
Since joining ConAm in 2001, Ms. Lund has proven to be a successful and dynamic leader. In addition to holding a Nevada Real Estate License, she also possesses ARM® and NALP designations.
Elizabeth Morrissey, ARM®
Senior Regional Portfolio Manager
Ms. Morrissey is responsible for overseeing a portfolio of more than 3,000 apartment units located throughout the Las Vegas metro area.
She has a wealth of experience in both the property management and the hospitality industry operations.
Ms. Morrissey began her career in property management working for the five-star Harrah’s Hotel and Casino in Lake Tahoe. After two years with the company; she relocated to Las Vegas and began working for Oasis Management in 1993, which later merged with Camden Property Trust. She held several positions with Camden Property Trust including maintenance coordinator and property manager. Elizabeth was quickly recognized as a capable trouble-shooter and was utilized to turnaround under-performing properties.
Ms. Morrissey joined the ConAm team in 1999 as Manager of the Meridian at Hughes Center, a 678-unit class “A” property. During her three years as Manager, The Meridian showed continued income growth during soft markets and a reduction in expenditures every year. Ms. Morrissey’s continual successes at The Meridian established her reputation as a proven leader. In 2003 she was promoted to the position of regional portfolio manager.
Ms. Morrissey holds a bachelor of science in hotel administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and a Nevada real estate license as well as possessing an ARM® designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management.
Olga Elliott
Regional Director of Marketing and Education
Ms. Elliot is in charge of overseeing training and staff development for ConAm’s more than 230 associates throughout the Nevada region.
Her duties include identifying training needs, creating custom course content and conducting classes in the new hire orientation, sexual harassment, diversity, customer service, leasing techniques, resident retention, marketing and the Train-The-Trainer Program. Ms. Elliot also teaches a six-course series in successful management techniques including communication, team building, delegation, business etiquette, time management, and stress management. In addition, she liaisons with the national vice president of marketing and education and regional marketing and education directors to create and implement nationwide training programs.
Ms. Elliot joined the ConAm team in 2001. She previously worked as an on-site business manager, community manager and leasing specialist for the company, assisting in both the Las Vegas and Los Angeles regions.
Ms. Elliot began her property management career with Oasis Residential/Camden Property Trust in 1994. She also worked with AAPI (American Asset Partners, Inc.) as director of marketing and education and at the same time (on a part-time basis), she ran the sales, marketing and public relations department of a Las Vegas graphic design firm.
Ms. Elliot has bachelor’s in English, linguistics and education from the Moscow State Teacher Training University and a master’s in political science from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She has also completed a graduate studies program at Smith College, earning a diploma in American studies.
In addition to her training activities at ConAm, Olga teaches at the department of political science and the honors college at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. As adjunct faculty at UNLV, Olga has taught courses in political science, American federalism, American government, and world politics. She has recently joined the American Society for Training and Development.
Linda Short, ARM®
Senior Regional Systems Coordinator
Ms. Short’s responsibilities consists of overseeing the training of computer systems, policies and creating new training classesto facilitate the continual growth of all associates at more than 25 communities in the Las Vegas portfolio. In addition, she handles the set-up and due diligence for all new portfolio additions and property sales and/or management transitions.
Ms. Short has been involved in the real estate and property management markets since 1978. While attending the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, Linda obtained her real estate salesperson license and began her career by selling residential homes for a leading national real estate firm. In 1981, she transitioned into the property management field and has held various positions in the industry both on-site and at the corporate level.
Ms. Short joined the ConAm team in 1992, in an on-site community management capacity and quickly distinguished herself. In 1994 she was named Employee of the Year and promoted to Regional Auditor and Trainer for the Las Vegas Region.
Ms. Short holds an accredited residential manager (ARM®) designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management, has served on the board for the Nevada Apartment Association, and has chaired IREM’s legislative committee.
Scott Peters
Regional Maintenance Director
Mr. Peters is responsible for overseeing maintenance issues for over 8,000-unit apartment portfolio located throughout Southern Nevada.
Mr. Peters' duties include the preparation and management of budgets and contracts for major rehabs and capital improvements and he assists in performing and preparing due diligence reports for potential acquisitions. He also handles emergency situations that may arise at the properties such as fires, major plumbing issues, mold mitigation, and accidents that have caused damage to buildings and structures. His responsibilities also include the monitoring of onsite maintenance, property cleanliness, proper record keeping, turnover of units and workplace safety-through the performance of quarterly property inspections.
Mr. Peters has worked in the multifamily property management industry for 11 years. His background includes work in the construction industry, hands-on maintenance and service management for multiple properties, as well as the management of large maintenance crews. He has also served in the United States Navy.
Tony Webb
Regional Maintenance Manager
Mr. Webb is responsible for managing on-site maintenance operations and capital improvement projects for ConAm's portfolio of approximately 3,830 apartment units located Southern Nevada.
He is also an active contributor in the company's due diligence process, accessing maintenance and construction issues for future acquisitions.
Mr. Webb has more than 25 years in the maintenance and construction fields. His diversified knowledge includes mechanical, electrical and plumbing, as well as both vertical and horizontal construction. He works hand-in-hand with the Community Managers and Maintenance Superintendents to identify and resolve both immediate and capital investment issue.
Mr. Webb has an Associate Degree in Electrical and Mechanical Technology and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration.
