Mr. Nelson is responsible for overseeing operations for ConAm's extensive Nevada property management operations which encompasses a portfolio of more than 30 apartment properties, ranging from HUD subsidized properties to luxury apartment communities.
Mr. Nelson joined ConAm in 2008 and has more than 20 years of leadership experience in real estate management. A true team builder, clear communicator, and effective organizer, Alan honed his skills having worked his way through the on-site ranks into senior levels of management.
His extensive resume includes property management positions with Balcor, Metric/SSR, and Camden Property Trust throughout Oklahoma, Washington, Utah, Arizona, and Nevada markets. In addition, has related experience with fund management, fee management, and Real Estate Investment Trusts.
Mr. Nelson is a graduate of Weber State University and holds a degree in business management. He has been a member of both the National Apartment Association and IREM, and has served on several committees for both organizations. He has over 20 years of volunteer service with Boy Scouts of America, and is himself an Eagle Scout.
